I keep getting turned down from jobs and find mundane work difficult, eg. refuse collection unbareably boring, factory work make too many errors. I've been leaving to avoid getting sacked, have found myself sleeping on the job due to boredom and keep having to sign on (benefit). What should I do?

Options
(1) temp agency - as an earlier answerer mentioned
(2) careers office - they can talk to you/test you to find what sort of job you are suited for
(3) just get on with the boring jobs. Its good if you like your job, but we can't all be too fussy

Just keep trying.you will find something eventually that you will enjoy doing. At the end of the day a job is a job,it doesnt define you, you are not your job, its just something we have to do to earn money.Very few people have a job that they love only the lucky ones. Some people spend half their lives till they know what they want to do. Keep your head up

A job is not to enjoy yourself - its a way to earn a living and not

I would try to get on a temp. agency's books, just blag what you have done if you know you can do it and once you get work be reliable and as popular as possible and it will be a great way to get good references and see what you like and hate!
