Im 14 and I use to feel the same. Then I realized that I could give 3 shits about what people said. As long as i was comfortable with myself and what I was wearing then it was lyke w/e.

I am a bit like you in the way that I am kind of self concious as well. This isn't usually a bad thing, but it seems to be holding you back from being a relaxed person. You just have to realize that not everyone is looking at you. When you're out, do you watch everyone's every move? Of course not! And everyone else is the same way. I use the same philosophy when I have a zit: if I ignore it and don't draw attention to it, no one will even notice it is there. This self conciousness will probably get better in time. Good luck!

I'm 31 and the same way! Sometimes it has to do with personality or could just be a part of growing up.
To give you an example of how I feel before I go on to how I deal with it I'll tell that I can be so self conscious that I hate even getting in line sometimes to pay for something! I fear that people will get mad at me if I take to long paying, putting my wallet back in my purse and so on. Crazy isn't it??
One thing I do is remind myself that most other people are not worrying about me, what I look like, what I wear, how I walk, how I talk, if I'm fat, if I'm thin and so on. People these days are very busy and thinking mainly of themselves. So try to remember that.
Another example from my life to explain how I handle this is that when I walk past a group of people talking and if they whisper or laugh I am sucked back to jr high high when girls would laugh at me. (I was a total nerd lol).
I am a Christian and God is my life. I try to remember that instead of worrying what other people think about me is that I care more about what God thinks about me and not the stranger walking down the road.
Being a teen for me was awful and I wouldn't want to go through that again. But one thing that did help me as a teen was a quote from a song sung by Michael Jackson. It was "Man in the Mirror" One part touched me was:
If you wanna make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself and then make a change
So take a look at yourself and if you don't like something change it for you. Not to fit in with a crowd or group.
I hope this helps you some. I've been there and you are not alone most teens and adults fill this way. Look at all the plastic surgery going on in the world.
HUGS

I am 31 weeks pregnant and I feel the same way but I do not let it bother me because people are going to stare no matter what.
Just ignore them and enjoy your pregnancy....

I used to be self-conscious. Until I had to shower after gym class. Then I got over it really quick.
