Right after I found out I was pregnant (about 4 weeks), I started spotting. I then had more spotting, so the doctor asked me to go to the ER to get checked out. At the ER, I started bleeding more heavily, and had clots. They took an ultrasound transvaginally, didn't see much (it was early), and were concerned that I had an ectopic pregnancy or blighted ovum. I worried myself sick, but waited it out. They said that if it was an inevitable miscarriage, it would pass on it's own. Well, I'm now 21 weeks pregnant (the same pregnancy) with a healthy girl. I've had bleeding off and on my entire pregnancy. My doctor now blames it on an irritated cervix. You just never know, and sometimes the doctors don't know either. Good luck to you. I'll be thinking about you!

Okay I just recently misscarried 2 wks ago and I went to the hospotal twice they said nothing and within 24 hrs. i miscarried.. If the pain gets stronger I suggest you to prepare yourself.. I miss carried while peeing so... If you make it till your doc. apt. ask them if there is any cardiac signs when they do a ultra sound. I also started with little clots when u miss you will know trust me... They cant do anything about it soo my suggestion is dont move alot and dont drink anything but water it helps lessen the cramps. Dont do alot of housework just do what is nessasary and keep your legs proped up... Thats all I can tell you.... Sorry
Crystal hope everything is well
PS also if u are filling up pads within a hour go to the hospital you have miscarried.. and they need to know nothing is left so you dont get a virus or something....

with my first pregnancy i miscarried at 6 weeks but i had big clots and no pain. maybe u should ask for an ultrasound to see if you have miscarried or not.
some people do still bleed during the first trimester of pregnancy how ever u still could be miscarrying, so put your feet up for a while and rest if you have to wait untiltuesday to see that sucks.
good luck sweety sorry i couldnt be much more help.

Honey, I know this is scary as hell but sometimes there is no answer till there is an answer. I do believe you need to see your OB/GYN as was stated earlier. ER Docs can be woefully ill- informed. Not many Shock Docs are Dr Carter or Dr Kovich. If you know what I mean. If you ain't in your docs waiting room than you best be in bed. You'd be surprised what modern medicine can do if you can just keep that ity bity baby inside. God bless

Take it easy...don't bother going to the hospital again. If you are miscarrying there is nothing they can do for you or give you to stop it. Call your OB first thing in the morning and let him know what's going on. It is possible for a woman to bleed through her pregnancy, and especially when that woman's period would have been due.

It sounds like there may be problems and it will be best to get help as soon as you can.

All I can say is that if you are going to miscarriage then it's already been decided and there's nothing you can do either way except wait for the outcome. I'm sorry you are going through this. Good luck.

Never go to ER you have to go straight to Maternity

or else you will be stuck there for 2 hours to sign you in and they will just send you up their anyways .... Maternity is open 24/7 and they will check you right away

get some bed rest ....
all of it sounds pretty normal ....
yo
u could be having a period I did me 3 months

just try and get a second opinion and get some bed rest and don't stress out you can make it worse......

good luck......

Your Dr. has someone on call so call they may meet you at the hospital but for your peace of mind you should go.........I did spot very lightly and was under a lot of stress even on antidepressants but we are all different .NEVER hurts to make double sure it's your baby and this the most important time and need to be careful ...... Best of Luck to you and your baby

Yes it is possible to bleed trough your pregnancy. the best thing to do rite now is call your Dr,tell him what is happening and decide together on a course of action. If however you start to bleed heavily, suffer severe and continuing pain or high fever go to the er.and please try to relax stress can be a factor in early term miscarriages.
