There is some kind of device to use on a map to estimate the mileage for trips already driven. It is not an odometer or trip meter or pencil, and paper! This is for trips already driven, not trips to be taken, yet! It is also not mapquest or yahoo maps or whoever has maps on the computer!

It is called a odometer located under the speedometer. And there is a thing called a trip meter there too! Also there are data loggers like pencil, paper and small spiral note pad in the center console. So whats the question really?
