including morgage, utility bills?
My family is probebly moving within the next 2 yrs and asked me if i wanted to take over the payments.
Its a Ranch home 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and its in NJ

My 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch costs me about 1100 a month.

I live in ohio in a cape cod, 3 bedrooms 1 bath, full basement, 2 car attached garage, large front covered proch and large built on deck on the back. Shead behind the garage. we pay 968 a month and that is just for the house payment and taxes and insurance. Our gas and electric is about 133 on a good month. The highest it has been is 280. Water is about 50 a month. Now your in NJ and I am in Ohio, yours is going to be more because your in a "richer" state. LoL Good luck!

I own my house free & clear. My monthly bills are under $500.
When I had a mortgage it was close to $2,000/month.
I pay homeowner's insurance once a year $420 + $280 flood insurance. Property tax bill will come next month, somewhere around $600.
Property taxes in NJ are high. You need to ask if they are part of the house payment or will be billed seperately.

Just ask your family what they are paying now, it won't change that much when you take over.
But we pay about $1200 total mortgage, taxes, insurance, and utilities for a 3 bed/ 1 bath in a mid to lower-income area.

It depends on location,ect. For us,mrtgage,taxes and home insurance adds up to 2100 dollars a month. We live in a 3/2 with a garage. A HUGE backyard with luckily no neighbors behind us just really pretty trees. I live in Florida

I live in a cheap neighborhood, in a small house intended for one person ...
I pay about $600 per month for mortgage, insurance, utilities...
I have also been here a while and people around me are paying about double that.
