One of my best friends was driving down the street where my crush lives and stops to talk to him, while I'm on the phone. She kept me on the line and was just chit chatting with him. I felt kinda hurt and I told her that. I've told her that I'm not mad, but its still bugging me. My friend is 20, I'm 26, and he's 43. I know he likes me, but it bothers me that she did that. Should I be?

Well, I was left on the phone while she was talking to him. I know it sound immature, but I feel threatened because she's younger , I guess. Even though he usually doesnt date younger women. He sounded like he didnt want her to leave.

It's only natural that you would feel this way, but acting on it won't make a difference. You're old enough to know that this is childish. But if you like him, and he likes you, then why aren't you two talking instead of them? Does the answer to this question have anything to do with your reaction towards this instance? If it's bugging you, then talk to her about it, she'll understand if she's a real friend...She'll know where you're coming from. Good luck.

Maybe your friend is trying to show you something about your boyfriend. There is 17 years difference in your ages and that is a lot. Be sure he really cares for you and the person you are and does not just want a pretty girl on his arm. Men are more then capable of that. I'd have a long chat with your girlfriend and flat out ask her why she did that. If you can not trust your friend then you better take another look at your friendship.

First question why you feel so jealous, and insecure when you are not even in a relationship with this man. If he likes you then it won't matter if she talks to him. You must find a way to be secure in who you are and believe that you are beautiful, and worthy of love. If you don't address these issues it won't matter whether it's a friendship. a "crush", or any other relationship you will never be happy. Also question why you are attracted to a man who is so much older, age gap relationship can sometimes work, but it's not always easy to bridge that difference.

Maybe you are not the only one he likes, and he do not belong to you anyhow, you should grow up, men that age is like a old farm goat and will eat anything that fit in his mouth

YES AND TEL HER EXACTLY HOW YOU WROTE IT! It's not good to keep things like that inside. She will most likely be very understanding.
