i definitely agree with you! i like the hot beatz and it's more my generation.. the 90s were plagued with ppl like michael bolton. and don't even get me started on the horror of the 80s with hideous george michael or boy george or.. anyone, really...
the 70s were.. okay, but not my style. i mean, it doesn't drive me crazy like the 80s, but i can't sit through the entire song if it's playing on the radio :)

I grew up in the 80's and that's what I like , but I love all the songs that sound good, but I would say 80's music is what I know and its my favorite because I have a lot of great memories.

I love 70's and 80's music but I gotta say the 90's! That's when Rap and Hip-Hop took center stage and so many creative minds worked together for a greater good! More blacks got into the industry as CEO's and businesspeople instead of JUST artists. A lot of "BEEFS" started and were finished through REAL LIFE LESSONS of death, drug sales/use, and serving jail time. We closely watched our artists and music. There wasn't as much BOOTLEGGING going on either. We bought whole albums and went to the concerts. Definitely, gotta love the 90's!
LOL & Be Good...=)

Yes, the 1900's did have some kickin' stuff. Nothing gets me going like a rousing rendition of Over the Waves Waltz. Yessir, makes me want to crank up the ol' Victrola, kick back with a Saturday Evening Post and watch the sun set on Walton's Mountain.

You left out the 60's and that decade shaped the music of the future decades.

I'm a 80's kid but I have studied the 60's the most. I like all genres and decades in their own right.
