I think your friend is stupid. I am 39 and I look 29 or younger. I think anyone can look any age. I have seen junior high students that look like they should be high school and high schoolers that look like they are college graduates. I work as a janitor in a high school, so I know what I am talking about. There was one time, my wife was walking by the school and she got hit on by a student. He thought she was in school and she was 31 at the time.

Of course it's possible. I started college pretty young and everybody was really surprised when I told them because I looked older than I was. I even had an advisor once ask me how old I was in 1975--I was born in 1986!
