is verizon a gsm network? will the lg f9100 work with it?

i am thinking of buying the f9100 from lg. will it work with verizon because that is what i currently have.

This phone will not work with Verizon. It is a GSM phone and Verizon is CDMA. It is not capable of picking up a signal on the Verizon network.

Most likely it will not work because verizon phones do not have a sim place and they are not gsm. Contact verizon and they will tell you for sure.
