yes...yes...i know...they lost today...and they had a few penalties...but what do you think about them? do you see any potential in them? i mean, out of the first two games, Chicago had only allowed 7 points (even though Chicago was the obviously more superior team in both games), yet the Vikings put up 16 points today - plus they held their ground pretty well, stopping the bears, putting pressure on Grossman, while maintaining a desently productive offense, especially considering that they're going against the Bears' defense...and thats even after losing a starting wide reciever and a first round draft pick linebacker...I think they have some potential...however, I didn't like everything Chester Taylor was doing, I think Moore should have gotten more playing time today

I can't wait til the Vikings play the Packers either, against the secondary of Green Bay, Brad Johnson is going to look like Peyton Manning!

The Vikings got robbed on that Troy Williamson pass. Though it might not have changed how the game went but owell.
I think that everyone is underating the Vikings because of all the off of the field stuff. Umm people? What does that have to do with how they play on the field?n And what don't the Vikings not have? They have a very smart QB, the best FullBack in the league, a very usable RB, The next Randy Moss (Troy Williamson) 3 time probowler Darren Sharper, The best left side offensive line, a great run stopping Defense, what don't they have!!!
I apreciate the people trying to stick up for their teams though but sometimes you just gotta give the teams you don't like some credit. I don't like the 49ers but they managed to beat the rams. I don't like the Lions, but they blocked 2 Seattle FG attempts. I don't like the Bengals but THEIR GODS!
Well i think you see me point here.

Viks got a lot of extra yardage from missed tackles and unfinished tackles from a bears D that I think didn't take this game a seriously as they should have. Minnesota defense put a lot of pressure on Grossman and it worked through three quarters. But when it came time to shine he did just that and showed as much poise as any veteran QB in the league. If the bears defense would have played this game with the intensity of the first two, the outcome would have been as one sided as the first two. Beware the bears. They are for real. You will see December third.

Don't let 'em get to ya. I'm not a fan, but the Vikes had a decent outing against a real tough team today and they played with 'em till the bitter end. They are a far better team this year and those that mock and insult them will rue the day....... they are definitely going to break some more hearts before this season is over....
(As far as meeting "The Pack," it will be "lawnmower day," Green Bay being the "grass" and the Vikings being the "lawnmower".......)
(Of course just about anyone meeting "The Pack," this season - with the possible exception of Detriot, - it will pretty much be "lawnmower day" ......)

yeah at another forum people were whining about how the season is going to be horrible and they couldnt beleive they lost to the bears.... im kinda like WTF??? did you expect them to go undefeated or something??? the bears are one of the best teams in the NFC, they barely lost to them and theyve beat 2 other 2005 playoff teams. theyre probably not super bowl calibre but i think theyre doing as good as a team who completely overhauled in the offseason could do
