Yes, it's always worth the time if you can't sell it locally. Make sure you cover shipping properly - get it weighed first. If you sell a few things, that's money you didn't have before, and if you find some additional items to sell later on, well, you're already set up and ready to go.

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. Depends on the value of your time. If you're able to be making say $200 an hour doing something else, then probably not. But if you're just goofing around on the internet, sure, why not?

Just read the free handy tips that ebay gives you, study the powersellers and learn from them. Include lots of clear pictures, be absolutely honest and up-front, protect yourself from scammers (again, read the ebay tips) and ship promptly.

Good luck.

Ive had nothing but "Bad Luck" on E-bay so my answer is going to be "NO" but your experience may be wonderful. You really don't have to choose until you have done it than draw your own conclusion. Everyone's will always be different. Good luck and hope you do sell the things you post.

I enjoy selling things on EBAY that clutter up my house, or things my kids have grown out of; better then throwing it out and easier then a garage sale.

To me it is. Just think, you can make some money on something you do not want anymore. I sell nearly everything I can sell, clothes, cd's, books, etc. I would try it out, wont hurt.
