3 Hurricane season has not affected any offshore drilling platforms and knocked them off line

Countries have built up their surplus again, this helps lower the price of oil as the demand is not as great.

It is a combination of factors, but primarily it is the drop in post summer season demand for oil in the U.S. There is increased supply and decreased demand, so prices have dropped.

More than likely it is because November elections are coming up. Wanna get the prices down so people will say well done republicans for helping get the gas prices lowered, and get more republicans elected. What do you wanna bet they go back up after the elections!

i think its a lot of different variables. one could be a weak hurricane season. i think Russia's entry into the oil market also has a lot to do with it. competition with OPEC might be bringing prices down. im sure there are other reasons, too.
