The water pressure is sometimes lower on the hot side of the system because of a weird practice of using smaller diameter piping to deliver the water from the water heater to the various units it feeds. The minimum sizes should be 3/4" regardless of pipe type, galvanized, copper, PVC, as a main trunkline, then 1/2" feeder lines coming off that. In my years of replacing water heaters and repairing plumbing systems, I've seen this time and time again, and have increased water flow in many houses by increasing the size of the water lines both feeding into and off of the water heater. Try it, right after you try cleaning the shower head.

Have you cleaned the shower head? Take it off and soak it in vinager untill it is unclogged. Do not use chemicals because this will ruin the parts inside. If that doesn't work then follow advice from other people who answer this.Good luck....
While you are at it you might as well do all faucets in your bath and kitchen... I do mine once a month and no problems with water pressure.

If you have galvanized piping there may be a build up inside your hot water pipes. Replace with copper or replace galvanized elbows and horizontal pipes to restore flow. If the pipes are good you may need a new cartridge in your faucet.
