Hey,
ok so i get the squier affinity fat strat, and it comes with a whammy bar, and when i try to screw in the whammy bar it screws in but not near far enough, am i doing somthin wrong, or is there somthin wrong with my bridge or what not?

I rebent mine to make that first 90 degree bend start nearer to the bridge. Use a vise and a little heat from a torch to straighten the original bend and then put the new bend in the same way.

examine the guitar's bridge. If the bridge is meant to cope with a whammy, there must be a hollow in which the bar would screw in. If there is no longer one there, you'll favor to purchase an finished new bridge for the device. If the hollow is there yet no whammy, go searching at any shops on the city that promote used units & see in the experience that they promote elements. Even 'new device' shops promote elements like Strat whammys. sturdy success.
