Why do Cubans, Mexicans, and Dominicans migrate the U.S?

this is the whole question for my project and it has to be of fact and not of opinion.. please help.

For a better life, the most people who emigrate from this countries are from the middle class to low class, this countries may be a little big that you can think " They should live properly", but that's not the real situation, ex: Cubans mostly of them are a good doctors, mechanics, etc. but the problem is their Communist government of Mr. Fidel Castro, were people can't save any richness as in the capital system an make their ideas work for the individual, in Cuba the possessions are for everybody, even when we know is a lie and Castro is the one who enjoys everything. In the case of Mexicans is that the only good part to make some money was in Mexico city, which is too crowed and many of the poor people can't stand a chance competing with the already established ones, so mostly of them decides to go to the north, USA. The Dominicans case is a kind of combination of both, even when the system is democratic the government of Dominican Republic isn't good providing the proper contacts with other countries for a good market, besides the government keeps a good deal of the money and the little rest goes to the people, Because the poor stand of the Dominican government the salaries in the island are poor, there is no middle class, just rich and low classes exist in Dominican Republic. People isn't able to make their own bussines because the poor support from the government. Basicly this are few of the reasons because the mentioned people emigrate to the USA. Mexicans do so crossing the border between Usa and Mexico, Cubans travel the Atlantic ocean the part between Cuba and Florida and Dominicans get to Puerto Rico 1st. crossing the dangerous Mona's Passageway and if they survive the trip, about 300 Dominicans die yearly trying to make the trip, once in Puerto Rico they try to either to stay in P.R. or use it as a trampoline to get into the continental USA, as you know Puerto Rico is part of the USA, because of that once Dominicans are in Puerto Rico they are inside USA. During the years some Cubans and some Chineese had changed their way to get into the USA by using the Domican Republic as a via to get Puerto Rico 1st and then to hit into the USA. I hope this will help you at school. Something else that many of this people are following is the modern "American Dream", a better life situation and a chance for their families.

I am having a hard time undserstanding why, if you want facts and not opinions, you are asking this question here? Like, Yahoo people know anything? duh!

In order to answer this question, you need to check some facts about the different countries, like how much money they have, how many people can read and write, how many kids die from different diseases, and like that.

One place to get started is a website run by the US government called CIA World Factbook. If you search on line for it, you will find it right away.

Look up the different countries and make a comparison.

Well its just right up there. they wouldnt go over the sea and take forever to get to some other place. The u.s. is a good thing and the best of all. they come here cause their place sucks. Also for alot of other reasons.
