You'll need theatre/drama class, any vocal/music and dance. Ballet & tap. Start auditioning with your local community theatre to get some experience. Chorus, tiny parts, anything to get on the stage and in front of an audience. Read plays, listen to musicals. Work, work, work!

Art classes, and I don't know what your area high school offers. In my school we have a English course called Interpretive Dramatic Literature. In that class we reviewed acting techniques, did voice exercises and read and performed monologues and dialogs, also reading and watching musicals and plays to critic them. It was the best class I ever attended, awesome. Just participating in your school's theater productions can give you lots of experience and to express yourself and your imagination. Break a leg!!

you should definitely take speech and debate if your school offers it since it will help your public speaking and make you less stagefright. Also, you should try drama because that helps with public speaking, stagefright, and acting too.
oh, and speech and debate isn't all just speech and debate. There are some events that also include acting and it looks really good on your resume if you are good at speech and debate (just a fact to know)

Take choir. It's the best way to improve your vocal abilities.
