Since the mint mark is just below the date, then I can take it, that it is dated 1915 without a mint mark. Then it was minted in Philadelphia and the mintage was 29,092,120. In the grade good it sells for less than $2.00 and in very fine around $13.00. In higher grades it sells for much more. You figure a dealer makes a profit of 40 to 50 percent, so you can take it from there. The only problem going to a web site is most are retail values and unless you know how to grade your coin, you will not know which price to go by. Hope this helps some.

The 1915-D cent had a mintage of 22,050,000 so it is not scarce. If the lines in the wheat heads are completely gone then by what you say it is a good-4 but if nice and original and if the bust has detail the grade can be bumped up a little. A dealer would pay around $1.25 in G-4 maybe a little more if a nice coin. Like most all coins, the value will go up as time goes by. It may pay to put it in a coin holder and put it away for a few years. By the way a nice find.

RE:
How much is a 1915 Wheat Penny worth?

It will be worth more than a penny because it is solid copper. But, as far as how much as a collector coin will depend on if it a Rare Wheat Penny. If, you find a web Site you will be looking for the Date and should be a Mint mark that will be important "Under" the Date. Example; 1915 s (s being under the date) If the mark is worn away then it not worth much at all.

it depends on the mintmark ......a 1915 -s is listed at 7.00 in fair condition and could be worth more depending on condition , the 1915-d is listed at 1.75 in fair condition ,and the 1915 with no mint mark is 1.50 infair condition ..............

you could spend it and use it the same as a regular penny - $0.01. Or you could find a local coin dealer and have them appraise it.
