You would need to contact your local waste management. Some communities require such a thing to be treated, others don't care and it can be thrown away with the rest of the trash.

Actually, you can put that in the trash IF you are not a business. If you are a business you must adhere to OSHA guidelines and pay for disposal of a biohazard.

As long as it's ordinary table salt, you may dispose of it in any manner you see fit.

there has to be a haz waste facility created just for that purpose at local solid waste facilities

thats a bio hazard,because it came in contact with blood,throw it in a dumpster somewhere
