If your budget is below 5 thousand dollars, there are only two sensible choices: The original Jeep Cherokee and the Nissan Pathfinder. The Pathfinder is probably more reliable, but also more expensive to fix/service. In both cases, we'd have to be talking about a car that's 10 years old and has 80 to 100k miles on the clock!

but id recommend Honda/acura by far. *pilots,CRV or the MDX/RDX from acura)
