I recently moved my IPod library from an older computer to my new laptop, ever since I did that when I purchase music on the new computer it downloads to my library and loads onto my IPod but when I to listen to it on the IPod it skips over it as if it can not retrieve the song... I dont know what to do... I have made sure that my library is authenticated on the laptop and all that... any suggestions would be GREAT!

itunes 7 is really buggy, lots of people are having the same problem as you. Visit http://discussions.apple.com click on the ipod link and check in the forums related to your ipod.
We're all desperately waiting for a patch to come out and fix some of these issues.

I would go to the apple site and reload iTunes. Then I would check all of your settings to make sure everything is okay. I am sure the apple site also has a troubleshooting section. Good luck.
