i want to know if it would be safe for me to put my dwarf rabbit in a carry bag with me. i am going on a 30 minute bike ride to my friend's house and i plan on taking it with me on the bike ride. is that safe for the rabbit? if so, should i bring its food with me?
i plan on staying over my friend's house for 2 hours.

If you have an animal carrier (mesh sides for ventilation) and it isnt hot out, your rabbit should be fine. Although, if you are only going to be gone for 2 1/2 hours I really dont see a good reason to take your rabbit over there. There is any number of incidents that could happen to your rabbit along the way. Better be safe and just leave your bunny at home. It is a much safer environment and far less stressful.

The rabbit will be fine as long as he doesn't get squashed in the bag.
Rabbits eat periodically all night and day, so two hours without food will not harm him in the least. If it is very hot out, you may offer him water when you get to your friend's, but for that short amount of time he will be fine either way.
The concern you should address is urine-If you put a towel in the bottom of the bag, so you can wash it later if you need to you will be OK. Rabbits feel secure in a closed in place. The carry bag is a good way to transport him

I really don't think you should try that. Besides, the rabbit may try to escape by biting though the bag, eating the material. I don't think you'd want your rabbit to eat that stuff.
And what happends if you fall down? The rabbit may be hurt.
Oh and I've read that dwarf rabbits could be a little more jumpy and frightful than the larger breeds, so I think you should just leave the little bunny at home.

Please dont put your rabbit in a bag. Im sure you want to take it because you love it but i think your rabbit would be scared to death. If its really important that bunny comes with you then consider a wicker or moulded plastic carry case. Bunny cant fall out, get knocked and hopefully feels less frightened on its journey.Wicker carry cases are around £10.00 from any pet shop or even Argos do a great one for7.99. It really is the kinder and safer option. May save lots of tears in the long run.

I wouldn't only because this can cause the rabbit to stress really badly. They stress easily and it's not good for them. If you really want to take your rabbit to your friends house you should get a travel cage big enough to move around in and to put food and water in, and go over there in a car.

well how whould u like it if u were in a big for 30 mins? lets the rabbit breath every 5 mins if it is hot. if its cold then try to keep it warm and still let it breath. whatever u do make sure ut doesn't fall out and don't go to fast. bring food and water 4 it. Don't squash the rabbit as u ride your bike too.

is your rabbit use to the bag, if so then it should be ok
but if this is the first time leave it home and start getting it used to the bag alittle bit at a time.
Make sure bag has air holes for bunny to breathe

I think the rabbit would be much happier if you just left it at home. If you do take it then you should definitely take water for it, and some food to just in case something happens and you can't get home for a while.

Yes , you can but why would you? If you do take it some food with you. when you get there give it some water also. I bet the little rabbit's heart is beating very rapid cause it probably scared to death.
