Ohhhhhhhhhhhh wrong on soooooo many points. The idea of licking someone's product is disgusting - unless you mean you lick it AFTER you buy it! Who knows what disease you may spread - or pick up - doing something like that. Check the freshness date, ask for a sample, or just don't go to the deli counter. If I was the attendant, I wouldn't yell at you, I'd call the police!

Well i am not shure you should lick but instead ask for a sample of it, that way he dosent think youre being impolite but you can tell if it is fresh.
