Wow! First of all, if you have a warrantee, I would DEFINATELY use it. If you don't, first try re'installing Windows. If it will not let you, then somehting is probably not connected anymore because of the fall. There's a good chance it's your hard drive. You can easily open up the bottom of the laptop to check.

I will say again though....USE YOUR WARRANTY!!! If you open it up yourself, you may void id out, so don't open it unless you do NOT have a warranty.

"Op sys not found" means it is not find anything from which to load Windows. Sounds like when you dropped it you did something to the hard drive. Try taking the hard drive out and back in. It might just be loose. As most laptop drives just slide out and back in without opening the case, it will not void any warranty you have. (However damage from dropping is not covered under warranty, so you voided the warranty when you dropped it.)

If that does not work, you may have damaged the drive and may need a pro to look at it.

Could be a harddrive failure. (Tends to happen upon impact of the harddrive, the platters get jacked up.)

You can try reinstalling the OS, OR if it's under warranty you should send it in to whomever you need to send it into to get it repaired.

If it isn't under warranty you may need to start looking at new Laptop HDDs.

Good luck!
