Well, art to the artist is a kind of expression. Could be expressing emotion, beauty etc. Art to the art lover is a kind of feeling. A piece of art makes you feel the beauty of it or the horror of it; whatever it is trying to portray.

If you're talking about art as in drawings and paintings, I LOVE art. I can draw so good. Artists make art because with art they can express their feelings. It is also cool to make patterns and designs.

art is a form of expression...it is a way of connecting with other people on different levels. i usually like my art to start conversations about important things in my life and i like to make people think. i like to see if is can persuade people to my opinion. sometimes it is the best form of communication, sometimes it is just a lot of pretty colors or evokes an emotion. it can also be a look into someones soul...
i love to see other people's artwork because it is a better way to understand someone than you could ever get with casual conversation. i always learn something about the artist and it makes me feel closer to them. sometimes, i learn about the world, other ideas that i haven't thought of, or another way of seeing something that i have been looking before.
