If you are a people person, very persuasive and have a lot of friends, then you will be successful. Other than that, do not even think about it. Contact Avon.com and the company will tell you what to do.

Earnings are okay. I know when my cousin and I did it she knew alot of people and I passed booklets out at work. I think the most we made after our cost was $250 once. So I guess if you know alot of people that will buy it is worth it. Just remember you have to buy the catalogs each campaign, your samples to pass out, bags, all supplies you have to purchase. Sometimes your team leader will give you some freebies to get started. Also we found out AFTER passing out catalogs on doors that there are territories which we thought were ridiculous. I guess if a avon representative has already been in a particular area that is now their territory. So, keep that in mind.
I believe the web address is www.avon.com. Then you can enter your zip code and they will have a representative call you. Here it cost $10 to start. I'm not sure how much the start up cost will be in your area.
Good luck and hope I helped in someway.

Talk to an established Avon Rep. They can get you in or tell you who can.
Earnings sucked when I sold Avon, way more work than they say and you have to go some scarey places to sell (unless you're in a high-end neighborhood, and they usually buy more expensive makeup!). Good luck!

I'm a new Avon Rep myself. Yes, you can make money. Go to www.Avon.com or if you want, I can help you get started. Just let me know. There are also quite a few neat incentives to help you with your earnings.

go to avon.com and it will give you the name of someone in your area to help you get started. My sister sold avon for a while and she didnt think the "extra income" was anything special because she would give everyone in the family her discount and she would buy tons of stuff herself. The great thing about selling avon is the great discount you get, hope that helps =)

You need to go to avon.com and see how many reps are in your area. You don't want to be competing against 50,000 reps.
