In triangle ABC, the smallest angle is half as large as the largest one, and the sum of the largest and smallest angles is twice the third.Find the measures of all three angles.
oh & this problem is confusing aswell...
The side (x) of a square equals the width of a rectangle.The length of the rectangle is 6meters longer than its width.The sum of their areas is 176m 2rd FIND THE SIDE (x) OF THE SQUARE.

let the smallest angle be S
S=1/2L
S+L=2M
S+M+L=180
S+L-2M=0
3M=180 M=60
1/2L+L=120
L=120*2/3=80
S=40*
the angles are 40*,60*and 80*

x^2+x(x+6)=176
2x^2+6x-176=0
x^2+3x-88=0
(x+11)(x-8)=0
x=8=side of the square

2) x = 8
