I am married, have been for 9 years. I have always struggled with being faithful, since I was 17.

You ask yourself why in the world do I want this?

Lust never produces lasting happiness.
Remember that.

ok, lets say you are 46 and the guy is 23.... are you ready to take the risks? affair can be intimate, emotional or both; the thing is if you invested time and effort for it and then later find out that this guy you are having an affair with is with you for reasons that doesnt match your ideals, are you ready to accept it?

if lust is what motivates you to have an affair with him, that would definitely be the same thing that woud motivate him leave you and have an affair with a woman thats his age or even younger than him....

is it worth it?

I really am disappointed. I thought this was for real problems. If this is truely a situation that you are thinking about you have some major issues. This will involve more than just you getting laid. There is a family that will pay a price.
Put yourself in the place of this jerks wife. How would you feel?
What are your values? Are you self-centered and only think about how you will feel.
What about commitment.
Age really isn't a factor in your question. It is your morals. Good Luck living with yourself.

Well, first you have to ask yourself why are you interested in this person, what is it about him that transcends age. You also have to look realistically at where you are emotionally. Is a relationship going to be good for you or destructive? If this is a relationship that is going to be good for you and not destructive then go for it. If it's not going to be healthy, then take a long step back.
