I think we do have soulmates because I met mine. My now husband & I met 4 years ago... I was very depressed the night we met, this boy I was sleeping with didn't like me the way I liked him. I went to an Irish pub got rightly drunk & walked home crying, thinking if I died right now nobody would care. This guy pulled up and asked me if I was okay and if needed a ride home. At first I thought he was some pervert, but something told me I could trust him. So I got a ride from him, gave him my phone number & he loves me more than I ever thought possible. He is my soulmate, I believe God sent him to me because we both needed eachother so much.

No, I don't think we have soulmates. I think that you can meet people throughout your life that you connect with. The whole concept of soulmate is overrated. With all the billions of people on this planet, does it really make sense that we would wind up with our true soulmate?
I can think of a couple men I dated/loved before my husband that I felt very connected to and loved in different ways for different reasons than my husband. Just my opinion, that's all.

I think a lot of factors that come into play, but on a planet of 6.5 billion people, to think you have one soulmate would basically be futility, the romanticism of Plato's Symposium notwithstanding.
I mean, even people who think they have a soulmate seem to think that person is in their state, their school, or something tangible. Whenever I think I have a soulmate, I figure they are probably in Prague or something, since the likelihood is the same, if you buy into that.

Fate stepped in when my soulmate rescued me from a really bad violent relationship.
We have been together 11 years now, married 3 years and have 2 beautiful children.
I hate to think of what my life would have been like if I had not met him. I adore and love him to pieces and could not imagine my life without him.

Yes I do believe that everyone has a soul mate. I do believe that I have found mine. We met one night through mutual friends and have been together ever since. It has been 6 years now. We have the same thoughts on things and our childhoods were very much alike. We know what the other is thinking and we finish each others sentences. It is very weird and we both believe that we are each others soul mates. I hope that you find yours!

We met in a laundromat. LOL! As much as I would like to believe everyone has someone somewhere, there are a lot of people that are single by choice.
