They're made to entertain us and also to make us realize things we usually take for granted like the importance of life and how unpredictable it can be.

Even though it a moives, it highlight the important of Global warming all over the world, with great changes in the climate all over the globe, storm and earthquakes happen as such a frequents that at least scientist predicts that another big one soon.

But I must said that sencerio from moives at least will not happened within a hundred years times, but one must not be happy about it as earth temperatures has increased by at least 2-3 degrees as compares to 1900.

Ices has started to melt in North and south poles and we seen hugh chunk of ice drifing around the seas, and It we do not care about our planets and reduced fussion emission, we could help increased the speed of making it a reality.

Water levels has increased around the world and some small islands has indeed submerged into the water, Venice a popular tourtist spots in europe has also seen island submerge and it predicts that it may and will be under water in the next 50 years.

Ever noticed the great changes in the pattern of the cyclone and hurricanes, has it increased in the level and intensity as in the past? maybe we are too busy to noticed that but one day when we really find out, maybe it wll be a little too late.

It actually can happen. Just look at former vicepresident Al Gore, who is now an ambassador of global warming, making Powerpoint presentations around the globe and evangelising on the subject (I think Gore has inspired another global warming movie, though I forgot its name).

On the other hand, scientists do not have reached a consensus on whether the planet is warming or (as the movie foresees) getting much more colder. What is clear to them (scientists) is that glacial eras come and go, they are repetitive natural cycles which are being accelerated by human industrial activity.

I don't know, but it did scare me. It still does when I think about it. I think it could happen one day, but not anytime soon. Maybe thousands of years later or even millions maybe? That's why we should all respect the nature and do everything we can to reduce all kinds of pollution.
