Scotland! The food sucked but the people were very friendly and the landscape was beautiful! Gorgeous land, greenery, hills, quaint houses and historic sites.
Notice how there are no Scottish restaurants in the USA? You can eat Thai food, French food, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Japanese, whatever but there's no Scottish food because nobody want's haggis! You might be able to stomach Shepherd's Pie, some of the fish dishes and oatmeal but the food leaves something to be desired.
The beautiful scenery and friendly folks made up for it, though!

Israel... Rich in History and Pride. A lot of Western Influence, most everyone speaks English, it's in the heart of The Middle East and it's a FREE COUNTRY!!! The beauty of the desert and The Dead Sea, Jerusalem's beauty and history, and the bustle of Westernized Tel Aviv... All so close together... Other than the fact that a Big Mac Value Meal costs nearly seven dollars... I quickly fell into love with Israel...

I have never been to a "contery". Is that a place that they distill conts? Like a winery? My favorite COUNTRY is Australia.

Italy.
Next week I'm on my way to Greece, perhaps Italy may be knocked down a tier.
