System Preferences > Bluetooth

Either find your device in the list and re-configure it, or just set up a new device.

Perhaps your version of OS X does not support the keyboard you are trying to install. Without specifics, there is not much else to suggest other than ensuring that the keyboard has line of sight with the receiver and that fresh batteries have been placed in the receiver.
