Ghosts, has anyone had any strange experiences?

People often talk about ghostly experiences, but is it really spirits or is it from our imagination? Nobody knows just what the human minds is capable of...

I believe in spirits only because after my dad passed away my little girl at the time was 3 would tell me whenever he came to visit her i would ask her what he looked like and what was he saying to her and every thing she said no one would have known but me it was very Erie and at the same time kinda cool.

Many people believe in ghosts. Others think that ghosts are just products of overactive imaginations and/or environmental factors.

Personally, I've had many experiences with ghosts/spirits. Spoken words, feelings in a room, smells that seem to come from nowhere at all, and I've even felt someone take my hand and touch my face and I was alone in the room.

Believe what you like, either that they exist or they don't. It's up to the person really, and what they were raised to believe.

Ive seen ghosts in my current house so has my mum and dad. Ive seen a black shape move from room to room. It always comes out of our middle room. My dog watches things all the time its quite freaky. All experiences have been when we are all awake, during the day.

My Nana's old house was haunted. All my aunties, uncles, my mum, dad, Nana and my cousin saw ghosts in that house.

One ghost used to walk past the bottom of the stairs with a curved sword. Another strummed my dads guitar while they were in the room. My cousins cot kept on being moved to the other side of the room and another used to throw plates but no one actually saw that ghost. Yous just saw the plates flying and smashing.

I totally believe in ghosts so does all my family. My dad used to be a bit of a sceptic until he saw the one walking around our house. I'm 25 years old so Ive past the stage of knowing what is real and what isn't and this definitely is.

Was in a car with a few friends late at night, one of them had recently had a cousin die in a motorbike accident in the area we were in, as we were talking about it seemed the street lights dimmed, it got colder in the car and I felt the cousin was trying to contact her, he did and they connected, problem was we was also in an area of an old house which reportedly had satanic worship carried out there, the car got colder still, it went completely black outside the car, something from the house had followed the connection with the cousin. I made everyone hold hands and not break the ring and try to bring white light to protect us. It seemed to work and eventually after what seemed like minutes the outside of the car seemed to come back into focus. When we looked at the clock, two hours had passed. Don't ask me what happened I don't know, was happy to just get out of there. The cousin later on was helped by me and some friends to move on.

I can identify with CHIMP's answer, as I can tell many stories as well. When I ran a sporting goods store in a mall in Mississippi, all of my employees witnessed various paranormal activity. Everything from shoes flying across the store, to TVs changing channels and on/off by themselves, bat racks swinging around (very heavy, by the way), setting off of the motion sensors when noone was in the store, etc. Many occurences happened with multiple witnesses, including customers.

What are ghosts? - I have no idea, but there are definitely entities that interact with us from another dimension of some sort.

for years ago me and my parents were coming back from vacation and I was in A rem position and saw a beautiful woman standing in the road dressed all in white with long dress and there was light around her...I closed my eyes and opened them again and I saw only the light 12 seconds later we had a car accident...And few months ago I had a dream how I was in the wather and couldnt go out because there were really big waves, the next night I was dreaming how I missed the ferry and started to sweam behind the boat and my father told me go left and stuck me under some iron pipes and the next night I dreamed how someone pushed me from a bridge and I got stuck by some sea grasses(i'm not sure how to say it in english)and the end I'm dying but the same lady takes my hand and says to me: It's still not ur time to die" and pulls me into the surface...Creepy

I've had many experiences with the parannormal...I've lived in several places that had given me the eebbie geebies and have been in the shower and had a hand that touched my shoulder....no one else lives with me. Another couple times i saw a human like figure standing in front of me...staring ...and he was translucent...i could see right through him...i have really had too many experiences to talk about, but i am definatly a beleiver.

I think ghosts exist but that the grand majority of ghost stories are fake, or your imagination. However, as a child I had an experience immediately after a relative was deceased. They said my name, I smelled their perfume and then they were gone. I was with my mother, father and grandparents, and we each witnessed it. We still talk about it sometimes.

When I was younger staying at my grandma's house in Kansas City I looked outside the window and saw a man standing in the driveway looking up at me in old clothing that looked like old worker clothing. The brown wool with the hat and everything. And just somehow, I knew it was a relative of mine I had never met

wow. ive had some strnage stuff happened to me in my house. The preveous owner showed up the night she died to check in on the place afew years ago, after she had died. I often hear footsteps. And on more than one occasion ive be talked to or heard a conversation when no one else is around. Things also dissapear and reappear in new loccations occasionally. Ive had other experienses in other loccations, but it doesnt bother me anymore.
