Truly an inane Q, but this is the right place to ask.

What color is the soul, the spirit, the primal drives, the intent of our species, the design envisioned to offer us a PLACE or path?

To the right brained person,,,as I happen to be,,, It can be all we ever wished "WE MIGHT have done" OR something we scoff at,,,IE: Frank Lloyd Wright in his first 'Skyscraper, Industrial building.

Patina. When I think of architecture, I think mostly of Chicago. (I live outside the city). And I think of the beautiful green blue colors all the copper has turned over the years.

transparent

architecture is about people and its environment, the sole intend of 'building' buildings is to provide, its colourless and soulless without people.
so, unlike colours, it has no character when without a purpose.
and its meant to be transparent.
