well i'm not really sure what the question is, but that statment about Ibsen is true. i just had to read that play. actually, looking at them now, i think they're all wrong.
the first one obviously. the second one, we assume who the "he" is so that seems incorrect since we don't know for absolute certain.
same reason for the last one.
yeah, the second one is wrong because it's too vauge. five is the right answer. i'm almost positive.

2 is correct. Ibsen was for his whole life intrigued by the role of women. Growing up, his father became bankrupt so he spent much of his life in poverty. Something that, no doubt, affected his view of the dominant role of the male. In the play, A Doll's House, or A Doll House, as some translate it, the lead male role, Torvald Helmer, sees himself as the dominant figure. The play centers around the protaganist, Nora Helmer, during the Christmas season, learning about herself and her situation and eventually concluding that "Torvald is devoted not to her but to the idea of her as someone who depends on him". The ending is considered to be one of the most shocking. (Because of the general lack of foreshadowing preceding it.)
Yes, Ibsen does dramatize the topic but the main focus of the play is the changing role and rebellion of women.

5 - None of the above.
In sentence #2, the title either needs to be in quotation marks or italisized to signify that it is a title of a book. In reading the sentence, it is hard to tell if the beginning speaks of just a title or an author and title (I know it is author and title because I have read the book). But if that is YOUR typing error, then the answer to "which one of the following is correct" is #2.

One has problems with 'them'--indefinite reference. Same with the word 'he' in Three. Number Two probably has parallelism problems between dramatizes and treated. I don't think the voice is correct. That makes the answer Number 5. B.
