my period was due the 21 st of this month my perod s never late more than one day i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend a week before my period i'm not really stressing it but there is just no sign of my period coming down and i took an ept test two days ago and it came out negative so i don't know wat to think i have been feeling very sleepy but anyways wat could it be

and i have been very mood i don't get very mood when my period is gonna come but i mean everything bothers me

Well, there is a chance that the EPT is wrong. Also, having unprotected sex is a good way to get pregnant. If you don't want to get pregnant, please always use a condom. Nowadays, use a condom anyway -- unwanted pregnancy is the 2nd worst thing that can happen from unprotected sex: HIV is the worst! You never know for sure!

About suspecting that you're pregnant . . . a woman can get pregnant at ANY time during her cycle. Sometimes stress can delay your period, i.e. stress over being pregnant. When I started college, I skipped 2 months. I had been regular before that. Wait a few more days, then take the EPT again. If it's negative again, chances are that you're not pregnant. The only way to know for sure is a blood test from a doctor.

With sex there is always a chance of pregnancy. A week before your period is due is less chance of pregnancy unless your cycle was irregular this time around. It is probably too soon to do a home pregnancy test because at this time HCG levels would be too low. Go to the hospital and get a blood test, the tests at the hospital are a lot more sensitive.
There could be a lot of reasons why it is late. Mine has been a late every so often and I wasn't pregnant. The reason you are so moody and irritable is probably because you are so on edge and worried about being pregnant. Try and get some good sleep. Worrying over whether you are pregnant or not will not affect the outcome. Wait a few days, or for peace of mind go to the hospital and get tested. Then next time, no unprotected sex.

When I was pregnant with both of kids I didnt know i was until it was about my 2nd week or so without getting my period...those test are not really good if it has not been a while since your period... I would say wait about a week or so and then retake the test to see.....I never really had any symptoms until after I found out I was pregnant....my period is like clock work it is always on time so....

I would say that chances are unlikely. A week before the onset of your period is usually not a fertile time. I wouldn't worry, especially since the test came out negative. Relax and it will come.

i dont know much because im 13 but i do know that if you are pregnant then the reson it didnt read is it is too early to know now you can go to the health department but like they said it coud just finally be experiencing a late piriod the reason why it could be late is you could be pregnant, it could be stress or your body could be reajusting again i hope it helps sorry i couldnt give mor im not expirnced thats why again im only 13

unless you are using the very best (and very expensive) pregnancy test, it takes longer than a week before the tests can detect the hormone (most cant detect it for 2 weeks after conception)

you could very well be pregnant the test may not have picked up enough of yhe hcg hormone it could be stress but id go with the first
