The only thing is: I used to get voice lessons, but now, my two brothers are going to a 30k school so, we're kinda low on money and I can't get them.

You're very good and frankly while there are a lot of amazing singers on Broadway there are a lot of musicals with average or below singers. Given the quality of your voice I'd work on acting more.

Well, you can definitely sing! I must agree with the above comment that the production of the songs distracts from your voice and lyrics. If you want to sound more acoustic, ditch the synthesizers and have only guitar/piano until you can find your band. It's unfortunate lessons aren't an option right now but in the mean time if you are preparing for a musical I would suggest some good breathing exercises to be able to optimize your volume control for filling auditoriums. Also, diction is KEY in auditions, so focus on finishing off your words and consonants while singing. You definitely have a "pop" sound, but don't let that stop you from trying out for a musical or exploring other forms of vocal performance. I would be interested in hearing your voice doing a classic "broadway" piece. Being in a play is a wonderful experience and you can really learn quite a bit about staging and production. Good luck!

It all depends on what musical? You don't have the right voice for old musicals like West Side Story, Music Man or anything by Sondheim. Your voice may work in newer musical like Rent.

You need to have more lessons. Stop singing with a Pop sound. EVERYONE tries to sing Pop. Find YOUR sound, YOUR voice. Be original and fresh. You may need to mature a little more before your real voice emerges. Don't push your voice so much (it's like yelling). I'd like to hear a recording that isn't so over-produced. Less echo, more real and live.

Remember, practice makes perfect ONLY if you're practicing perfectly.

this is the deal. you will see fact television shows the place bands do inner maximum performances for little obnoxious wealthy babies or some particular journey for the folk on the coach. They try this by way of fact: a million, the form is being broadcast on television, so whether they are getting paid for the form, additionally they're going to recieve royalties from the overall performance, 2, usually, the community that the coach is hosted on is likewise paying for section or each and all the overall performance. remember, television isn't actual life, adn fact television is in fact pretend and scripted. What you're able to undergo in strategies while attempting to usher in a musical team or artist for a coach, no rely what length, is the all of the different expenses besides purely the artist's cost. you will could pay a value for the region which you utilize, that would selection from some hundred to three thousand funds. you will additionally could furnish particular issues that the artist will require including nutrition or beverages. you're able to could receive a license to host a overall performance finding on the place you host it. there are regularly going to be different unforseen expenses besides. purely comprehend that theres extra to return up with than purely the artist cost. sturdy success nevertheless.

I rarely visit suggested links, but YES you are!

I suggest it certainly depends on the part you attempt to audition for,,,IE: Lead, or Chorus.

Directors and casting people are finicky, but they do know what they want and what will work.

Beyond that, If I were you, I'd audition for everything, but don't take rejection as a personal attack.

you are a good singer and i think with your singing you have a pretty good chance of making it, however, prior to the audition, you will need to brush up on your dancing and acting, because for my school musicals, with only a good voice will probably not make it!! good luck, and what musical are you doing!!?!

hey pretty good! Maybe you should ask your coach to work on breath power a little bit? But yeah you've got a shot and I think your voice would work well with a musical.
