I have a beautiful carpet, I always do bare feet, always.
The carpet has been installed 10 years ago, cream color, not generally walked on with shoe(out of the area) and IT STILL IS
NOT DIRTY!!! Never been cleaned.
So your choice is the only one that matters!!

i say yes,cause the oil from ur feet plus the dirt from outside =yes it maks it dirty.

dirt sticks to bare skin so he could have a point ,then again it also treads in on shoes ,why not compromise and walk around in socks .....he wont notice if thats all you are wearing ,will he.
