She's a talk-show host and a great businesswoman and a humanitarian (also a bright woman)... but not someone I'd consider Presidential material. No, I would not vote for her but I'd love to know her personally!

Being a nice person and a decent person and a bright businesswoman does not mean that she knows how to run the country (Dubya is running it into the ground!). Her intentions may be most honorable but she is limited by her abilities!

All doctors would love to cure cancer but they just don't have the know-how... same with Oprah... she would LOVE to find a cure for all the ills of this country AND the world but she doesn't have THAT kind of know-how. Throwing money at problems without a defined solution ain't gonna do squat!

No way. i'd sooner vote for John Stewart than a woman like Oprah.

Yes, she is rich and successful but at the same time remembers what it is like to be poor so we will have some one in the White House who will be able to look at both sides of economic issues and will make decisions that benefit both sides. Better than what the current resident. Plus she is a self-made billionaire. No help from Grandad and Papa again like the current resident.

Oprah couldn't pay me enough money to vote for her.

I would because she cares about people. And to other posters who hate Oprah, don't you think Bush, Rummy, Karl Rove and the rest of 'em, think pretty highly of themselves. A woman should have self-esteem.

Yes

No. She's an egomaniac and her earth-sized opinion of herself would get that much worse if she became president.
