Airbrush tans are the best from a tanning salon.
If you want a lotion.
Banana Boat makes a great sunless tan lotion. Its not instant. You use it like a daily lotion and is so gradual it will take approx. a week to darken up. Its nice

First check with a really good dermatologist! you may have a complexion which will not tan period end of story!
If you can tan then first go spend the money on a really good tanning salon. It should have at least 3 levels of tanning beds, and sell products that condition your skin as you tan. Tanning with out those products can leave you with skin that looks like old shoe leather by the time you are 30 (not good). Once you have a tanning salon FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!!! Do not rush things. take the 2 to 3 months they recommend and build a really good base tan. Remember if you do not want tan lines you have to start as you mean to finish. You can not change your mind half way through the process or you will have some very bad sunburn in places you really do not want them!

I have the same problem. I burn in the sun, I burn in the tanning bed. Self tanners make me orange. I went to the "spray tan/mystic tan/uv free" thing that has become so popular lately and turned as orange as a pumpkin even though they said I wouldn't... believe me, I did and I would advise everyone NOT to do it. The only thing that has worked wonders is Jergen's Natural Glow- it has a hint of bronzer in it- it doesn't smell too bad and it gradually adds a hint of color after a few days. There is a seperate on just for the face. It comes in diffent shades too- I use the light/medium one.

Ok, this might sound weird, but put on lots of sunscreen, a high SPF, Like SPF 50 and then go lay in the sun occasionally flipping over. You could go to a tanning booth but why pay $100 when you can get the same look for free??? The sunscreen will protect your skin from cancer, and dont use baby oil or anything like that, that is worse then nothing at all. : D

Most of the lotion brands out now have some type of glowing or tanning cream in them. Dove has Summer Glow, Jergens has something, but I forget what it is callled. You just have to be careful because it will streak your skin and give you blotches if you don't use it properly. Sometimes the smells give me a headache too. Don't go tanning, I did that for years and am now scared that I will get skin cancer some day. It's not worth the time or money. Plus white is in now.

Nutrimetics, distributed by Avalla, makes an awesome self-tanner. It gives you a VERY natural looking tan. It is the only self-tanner I will ever use.
You should apply it until you achieve the color tan you want and then re-apply every few days to maintain the tan.
You can order online at the website below http://www.myavalla.com/us/pwp/jmarshalik
by using passcode E896670009711252C on the left hand side of the screen under Passcode.

go to a tanning salon, but take small steps! i mean no more than 5 minutes your first few times. it will take a while to build a base tan, or even notice a differance, but you will eventually, the tanner you get the longer you can go for. some good tanning lotions, i would use spf 4-8 the first few times till you work into a tanning accelorator, and after you tan each time, and for days afterwords, use aloe gel.

Arbonne is the best tanning products out there. They do not make you look orange and you don't streak...it just gradually fades from you. The problem is though that it can be expensive, so google it and look for your nearest representative. Good luck!
