even since the times of slavery up until now, black men have always faced more discrimination and were even lynched more than black women. Even in today' s job market, a black woman is more likely to get hired over a black man if there were a choice to be made between the two. Why is this so? I am just curious.

Since when???? Black women are discriminated against for being black AND for being women. And, black women have to put up with sh*t from black men!

I haven't taken the time to think about the job market thing just yet, but the absolute first thing that came to mind upon reading this question was that...
in the broad sense of racial/gender discrimination... would it be possible that people in general will see men as more of a threat (or any other negative light you'd prefer to shine there) than women? I mean, like... for example, say I'm walking down the street at night and I see a group of black men coming my way.... Am I more likely to run up to the nearest porch & act like I'm visiting friends, or to cross the street in order to avoid being violated than I would be if it were a group of black women? I would assume that the most probably answer to that question is "yes" in most cases. Personally, I don't care one way or the other, and I think jobs and whatnot should be awarded based strictly upon experience and qualification, but that's just me.

The white man cant handle the competition, i think that if a passionate strong smart black man , were to get too far in business he would be lynched, nowadays they just fire you or smother your good name, or give you no chance at all because then the possibility for you to overcome them is lessened. And as they see it, Black women are less of a threat, come on its only a woman...and for this i hate controlling dominant men, who think less of women simply because of their capability to feel for other human beings.

I don't think that's like that. In the times of big discrimination not only were you discriminated against for being black but also for the sex. I imagine it must've been really tough being a woman some time back, imagine being woman and black?

Black men and women are in the same boat. Get your own business, make your own money ( the legal way) so you don't have to worry about discrimination I did. Money talks!

One aspect is that black men are stereotyped by some as being more aggressive or likely to be violent, and this doesn't really apply to women. I'm not sure if I have a good answer as to why this actually is.

If you don't think black women are discriminated against much, you haven't heard black men talk about them.

its probably because black males are more likely to steal money from the cash register, and scare away the costumers
