For example: if REXONA is on the front and TEXACO is on the back of a soccer jersey, how do I find the team? Its a red and black striped jersey.

I don't know the league or country. Supposedly the jersey I bid on from ebay is the Salvadoran team, but when I did a search, its not the correct jersey. I'm just going off the picture from the ebay ad.

Are you sure the names on the uniform are sponsors and not ads?. In the Mexican leagues uniforms are covered with ads.
If you know the league they play in then I am sure you can contact the league and ask the name of the team by describing the jersey. If you know the time they played then you can get hold of a schedule and find the name that way.

That's not the best way to find out the name of a team, look around the shirt ad look for any specific markings, names, symbols,etc.
