My cousin has been working for this guy,, collecting rent for some appartments. He would collect the cash, and then deposit into his accout for him. Sometimes though if the boss was in town, he would hand it to him instead.
This guy then hired an accountant/assistant who then saw that the deposit reciepts did not add up to the amount that it should have, so now he is sueing him for atleast 1k euro (Irish court) i honestly think they have no chance, because of bad bookkeeping and the fact that my cousin was 15 whhen he started (now17) but they think thry have a chance. Im no expert so could you shed some light on this? I know he didnt steal. Who would be stupid enough to steal over 1k from a buisnessman? (oh yeah the boss guyis a total freak, has millions, but drives a 10year old car and never changes clothes.
Please help aas he is really stressing over it. I would freak out if someone threatened me like that.

An auditor or accountant can quite evidence if there is any funds lacking. He would desire to ask the renters for evidence of fee and is checking the financial enterprise debts what has been deposited. appears like your cousin did no longer ask for a receipt from his boss while he gave him the money straight away. Your cousin could ask his boss in a expert way, what he did with the money he has won in funds. Ask him, if he deposited the money or placed into his own pocket. perchance the bosse's gentle bulb will shed some gentle on it.

I think in the US a minor under 18 can't enter into a legal comtract for anything so here they don't have a case in your country I don't know your cousin may want to talk to a lawyer just to be sure. Good Luck and I hope everything tunrs out well!
