A pie chart? If you are given the percentages (which you usually are) then do whatever% times 360. For example, 50% would be:

50/100x360=180degrees.

If you are given a fraction, it is done in the same way. If you are given, for example, 25 of 30 then treat it as the fraction 25/30.

If you're trying to hand draw a circle graph you need to do the following:

Example:
You have the following information:
Red is 10
Blue is 6
Green is 4

Write a fraction for each of the sections of your circle.
Red is 10/20 because you have a total of 20 things.
Blue is 6/20
Green is 4/20

Then take each of the fractions and multiply by 360 to divide up the circle.
Red is 10/20*360 = 180
Blue is 6/20*360 = 108
Green is 4/20*360 = 72

Now that you have the degrees for each of the sections draw a circle and divide it up using the section degrees.

Hope this makes sense. Good Luck.

a circle is 360 degrees. the upright is always at 90 and it travels clockwise, so 180 270 360 are the quadrants, and either using a protractor or division, make your calclulation.
