Highly unlikely, could end up upsetting a large percentage of the voting public. As a 4x4 owner who lives rurally and uses the vehicle for its intended purpose of towing livestock etc. examples like this of a complete lack of understanding of environmental issues and solutions really gets my goat.
Global problems need global solutions not local, knee-jerk, half-witted schemes. The real solution is a concerted effort to find a sustainable alternative energy source to fossil fuels.
Why should I pay more when the rest of the world carries on regardless? Is it so Americans, Indians, Chinese etc. etc. can drive around for longer in their inefficient, highly polluting vehicles? Not on my watch mate!

dont know but how aboutPelvic inflammatory disease (or disorder) (PID) is a generic term for infection of the female uterus, fallopian tubes, and/or ovaries as it progresses to scar formation with adhesions to nearby tissues and organs. This may lead to tissue necrosis with/or without abscess formation. Pus can be released into the peritoneum. â
of patients with laparoscopic evidence of previous PID were not aware they had had PID (Cecil's 5th ed). PID is often associated with sexually transmitted diseases, as it is a common result of such infections. PID is a vague term and can refer to viral, fungal, parasitic, though most often bacterial infections. PID should be classified by affected organs, the stage of the infection, and the organism(s) causing it. Although a sexually transmitted infection is often the cause, other routes are possible, including lymphatic, postpartum, postabortal (either miscarriage or abortion) or IUD related, and hematogenous spread.

This is just a proposal by Menzies Campbell of the Lib Dems of what they would do if they win the next election - it's almost enough to persuade you to vote for them!

Unfortunately it was just a proposal to be adopted by the Lib Dems and you know how much chance they have of being elected.
I'd just have them all crushed
