my cd rom is broke and someone in the house deleted works from the dekstop so now i cant even run the cd to put it back in, any way any ideas???

If you want a free office suite I'd suggest downloading Open Office (http://www.openoffice.org/) it's free and it's legal. You could probably get a free version of MS Office from BitTorrent with some key generators but the chances are that you would probably run the risk of installing something malicious too.
Open office matches lots of the functionality of MS Office so would be an upgrade on MS Works.
It can save/open documents in a variety of formats, including those used by Microsoft.

You can download it any where,but you cannot use it without the CD key or license key.Just go buy a new one.
