I think it's China and here is why, China brutally invaded neighbor Tibet in 1949, since then 1. 2 million Tibetans have died as a result of Chinese invasion and illegal occupation. This is worse then genocide in Rwanda or the killings in Darfur Africa. That number is not just what the Tibetans say but US state department and many other countries. China is still continuing its arbitary arrests of innocent Tibetans inluding monks and nuns just for practising thier religion and bealiving in thier leader the Dalai lama.
There is no news media reports of what's happening inside Tibet but tibs fleeing describes how they were jailed tortured or thier freinds killed in jail.
China killed hundreds of its own Chinese citizens in Tainaman square in 1989 following the demonstration. There is no democracy in China, no freedom of religious practise and internet cencorship.
China supports countries that prosecutes its people and countries where there is no democracy or human rights.

I firmly beleive the worst is communist China, it is so ruthless and don't mind executing innocent people. China jails innocent buddhist monks in Tibet for years, sometimes 20 years just for speaking out against the gov's occupation of Tibet.
There is no fair trial in courts and going to a court means more severe punishments. They are turtured ,beaten with baton, whipped and electrocuted. There is no media reports of such serious human rights violation as the country is now run by the Chinese.
following China is N. korea which china is not supporting the international community to stop its nuclear ambitions
I disagree about US, USA is the champion of freedom, democracy and jusitce in the world.
There were big mistakes done by some soldiers in Iraqi prisons and here and there but otherthen that it is one that is promoting democracy and freedom.

I don' t disagree, though of course our attention is necessarily focused on the Iraq war that we are in.
You didn't mention Taiwan (Formosa), either. If you are interested, there is a good read. Taiwan is a Christian republic which has been surviving for 50 years with the guns of mainland China constantly on her.

I'm going to agree with you. A lot of liberals are going to point at the U.S.A and no doubt that we haven't been the most perfect nation on earth (is there really such thing as a perfect country), however, China cracks down on dissidents like an anvil on a raw egg.
Don't forget Cuba, N. Korea, Vietnam, Cambodia, and some other current human rights abuses.

The United States because we took pictures of naked prisoners at Gitmo, made them listen to Red Hot Chili Peppers, had dogs bark at them, put them in funny hats, and made them sit in cold rooms. I don't know what kind of world you guys live in, but as far as the amount of pain a human being could be subjected to, the prisoner's treatment at Gitmo takes the cake. I don't care if women in some countries can't vote or even show their face. I don't care if people in South America disappear if they don't cast the right vote. I don't care if China performs medical experiments on its political prisoners. I don't care if Sadam Hussein tortured children in front of their parents. The fact that the U.S. won't give enemy combatants all the civil liberties granted to U.S. citizens makes us the worst country in world.
Down with the Great Satan. Long live the ACLU!

USA because we are violating the Geneva Convention and torturing humans that we really don't know if they are terrorists or not. Hidden prisons and we're hollering Democracy to other countries , while we have had ours destroyed. Hypocrites that is what we have become since Bush installed himself in office.

I'd be inclined to say Hitler, but there are so many others! I saw a documentary on China's history and know exactly what you are saying. It was horrible! Sad that there are people that could cause so much grief to so many.
