Glaxo has paid record tax in US this year and is better company than Pepsi.
Further, if you are joining marketing U will find Pepsi tougher to market.

If i were in UR place then I would go with Glaxosmith. pepsi is war game , today they are doing good but things really turn when their sales fig dips . Then assured U got to be on a Hunt once more.

Depends on the position, length of commute, ability to move up in the organization. Also people will always be in need of medicine. People like, but do not NEED soft drinks.
