It depends on what your intention in asking the question was.

The interpretation of it can be: 'I am seriously asking, as a matter of logic, whether the question 'is this a rhetorical question' can ever be answered. Discuss...'

If so, the fact that people (like me) are answering it is not logically impossible or self-contradictory.

Some questions are unambiguously non-rhetorical, e.g.

Q: 'How many men here, glancing quickly at your avatar and being blinded by the boobs, have entirely failed to look a little higher to notice the stubble, and have thus made amorous remarks addressed, in essence, to a bloke called Richard D. James?'

A: '2,756. Plus this thread, add another 3, so...2,759.'

Some are more whimsical, e.g.

Q: 'To what extent would the Aphex Twin Boob Distraction Strategy work to deceive men in real life?'

A: 'Let's get Richard Branson, lots of silicone, and a good plastic surgeon, and find out.'

Edit: ATBDS works on women too (see below : )

It doesn't count as one I think. One rhetorical question is, (parents and kids everywhere know this one) "How many times have I asked you to do something?" Rhetorical question.

Two more, (guys with a girl know this) "Do I look fat in this? Do you think she's prettier than me?"

Rhetorical questions, by definition, have no answer.

The rhetorical question is usually defined as any question asked for a purpose other than to obtain the information the question asks. For example, "Why are you so stupid?" is likely to be a statement regarding one's opinion of the person addressed rather than a genuine request to know.
So, No it's not. Nice baps!

As there is a distinct lack of rhetoric, I will leave the decision up to you.

No, because you want an answer.

A rhetorical question is one to which an answer is not desired
