Good mayonnaise is the real deal -- a dressing of oil and vinegar (or lemon juice), whole eggs or egg yolks and condiments (salt, pepper to taste).
Miracle Whip contains some of the same ingredients plus a sickly sweet (and totally unnecessary) overabundance of sugar. It should never be eaten!

Miracle Whip is sweeter then Mayonnaise. I don't know the ingredient difference but I do know that Mayonnaise is alot simpler then Miracle Whip! Hope that helped!
