Can you pen-write on a DVD, then Lightscribe it?

I'm afraid the ink will melt and then get-into the Drive and ruin it ;(

I need to temporarily pen-mark the copy and latter Lightscribe the image. My concern is that the pen will melt into the Drive ;(

If you have LightScribe then why would you want to ink it? Yeah, I wouldn't reccomend it, I don't think it would be worth finding out if it works or not.

nope dont do that it will make a right mess of it and then the dvd will stop working
